Since we were young, we have been taught that reading is important. A.C. Grayling once said that, " To read is to fly: it is to soar to a point of vantage which gives a view over wide terrains of history, human variety, ideas, shared experience and the fruits of many inquiries. " As a university student, I understand that almost every semester, we have to fork out hundreds of ringgits to buy textbooks which at the end of semester, we don't use them anymore. Furthermore, not everyone comes from rich families. After buying those textbooks, how are we going to buy the books that we like? Where does the money come from? BookUp  is a Malaysia based startup which aims to curb one of the main problems faced by students, the expensive textbooks.
